Steph, what an achingly beautiful tribute to love, the spirals of life, and the miracle of Adrian. I too will embrace you in the pull of the ocean and the wide, unending sky - and also in the chorus of the jungle - which now is on my list as a place where I will be with you, and share your wild joy, even more intensely. I will cherish, and continue to learn from, you, always.
Oh, my dear friend… your words brought tears to my eyes. I’m so grateful for your constant support—for everything!!! Having you close by in NYC right now feels like such a gift. I can’t wait for the moments still to come! I cherish you deeply, and love learning right alongside you. With love, Stephanie
Adrian is so clearly a product of your love, adventurous spirit, appreciation of wonders, intelligence, sense of responsibility, ethical compass, and compassion. He carries you into the world in so many ways. I feel privileged to have worked with him and to have met you. Sending affection and gratitude.
As always, an incredible read. There is so much I underline and keep in my journal after reading your updates. I was particularly struck by your lines, "So I stopped measuring what I might miss / And started offering what I still carried—". This concept is something that comes with incredible clarity when you get the news of your impending mortality. It took me so long to understand this, and your writing Stephanie, was a big part of getting me there. Thank you for always helping me along on our dual journey towards the infinite. I am so very happy you got to be there with Adrian at his graduation and to write the beautiful letter about his own path. Thank you, as always my friend, for awakening my heart and spirit, to being in the moment and understanding what I still carry. My best wishes and love. - Tom
Your message has stayed with me—thank you so much. One of the things I’ve noticed on this path is how, when we’re really doing the work, certain lines or insights arrive right when we need them—not as revelation, but as recognition. A reminder that we’re not alone in what we’re learning.
Knowing my words have walked with you, even briefly, on that sacred terrain is the deepest honor.
Being with Adrian at his graduation felt like its own quiet transmission—a moment where everything was exquisitely fragile and fiercely alive. I’ll hold it forever.
So moved by this Stephanie - the power of your writing, your spirit, your wisdom and love. I’m so happy you beat the odds and could be at Adrian’s graduation to celebrate this life milestone with him. Mazel Tov to you both. Sending much love. And please know you both have a place to stay in the UK anytime! (We are now living in Cambridge.) xo
Dear Heather, Thank you so much—your message meant the world. We missed you during graduation weekend, but your turn is coming up so soon!! And Cambridge—what a dreamy next chapter for you both! I’d love to see you there one day. Sending love right back across the ocean. 💛 xo, Stephanie
